High school girl Shimoshiraishi Mugi, a former idol otaku is about to graduate high school but still is undecided in her career path. Her grandfather, who was the chief priest of a temple, passes away, and during the funeral, she discovers he had left behind considerable debt. There she also meets her childhood friend Isono Shuu, who had studied at a Buddhist University and is a qualified monk. Mugi, who doesn’t want to let go fully of her grandfather’s temple accepts Shuu’s proposal to become chief priest, and the two work together to rebuild the temple.
NHK's 102nd morning drama depicts the life of a famous composer. Koyama Yuichi with his wife Oto. They meet each other through music and overcome hardships together. Yuichi composes songs that became "Yells" for people all over Japan in the Showa Era (1926-1989) in which radical changes were going on.
Kanji Takizawa worked diligently at a bank, successfully reaching the position of branch manager. Despite the fact that his conversation with his wife Mariko was dwindling and there was a growing distance between him and his young, unmarried daughter, Misaki, he had come to accept his peaceful life. One day, Kanji gets loaned out to a client company for an unjustifiable reason. Shocked, Kanji lies to his family that he was going on a business trip to Switzerland, where he meets and finds a kindred spirit in Shiori Meguro. Meanwhile, Mariko suspects that her husband may be having an affair, and finds herself falling in forbidden love with her daughter’s fiancé, Haruki Hino.
Story depicts the conflicts and growth of families who live at co-operative houses. Nana Igarashi is 35-years-old and works as a diving instructor. She is married to Daiki who is 32-years-old and works at a toy company. They live in a small apartment, while saving up to buy a house. They enjoy their life. Nana and Daiki decide to buy a co-operative house. They also try to have a baby. Nana and Daiki realize it isn't easy to have baby.

Japanese TV drama Shiratori Reiko, which is based on the original Shiratori Reiko de Gozaimasu! shōjo manga by Yumiko Suzuki, will be receiving a feature length theatrical film in June of 2016.
19-year-old Reiko (Mayuko Kawakita) is extremely beautiful and comes from a wealthy family. When she was little, she was bullied by a kid and Tetsuya (Masaru Mizuno) saved her. Despite her parents’ opposition, Reiko goes to Tokyo to attend a university where Tetsuya studies. At this time, Reiko wants to be honest about her feelings for Tetsuya, but due to her pride she doesn't tell him.
