Djéné is a 45-year-old chambermaid employed by a subcontracting agency, working in a large Parisian hotel with deplorable working conditions. One evening, she discovers one of her colleagues unconscious, a victim of the frantic pace imposed by their managers. Djené decides to bring her colleagues together to make their voices heard.
Soumaya, a practicing Muslim, is fired one day without explanation or warning. Later that night, she sees on TV that news outlets are linking her to jihadist circles.
Salim comes to grieve beside his mother’s dead body. But very quickly, between religious customs he doesn’t understand and the constant comings and goings of people he doesn’t know, the young man feels uncomfortable in the small family apartment.
