Dea is arranging music for a song titled "Tapi Bukan Aku (But That's Not Me)". Grego, a music academy student, rents Dea’s house. When he plays the piano, he feels as if someone is watching him play the piano. From a bracelet, Grego sees Dea, a restless spirit who is forced by Silbi to join a group of the dead that she leads. The togetherness of Grego and Dea leads to a deep friendship, and love. Unfortunately, they come from different worlds and Grego is already engaged. The love between them finally makes Dea insist on returning back to her body that is lying in coma in a hospital. Dea enters her body to come back to life and to remind Grego of his promise of love.
Budiman, a 10-year-old boy, lives in the village and dreams of going to Jakarta. This obsession grows when his uncle sends him the map of Jakarta plus his self-portrait, standing in front of a luxurious car and house. His father, Darsono, works as a village official, but the village head, Lurah Sarkawi, uses Darsono as a scapegoat to cover up his corruption. So Budiman wants to free his father from prison. So he leaves his village in Muntilan, Central Java for Jakarta. Initially, he is accompanied by Rini but they separate later. Then Budiman meets Marsya, a singer, who is also the daughter of her uncle's boss. On the journey, Budiman is chased by Sarkawi’s goons, Diran and Dirun.
Dedi (Dede Yusuf), who married Menul (Ayu Azhari), when they were very young, tries to make a living as a clown at an amusement park. This job does not pay enough for him to make ends meet, so he and a number of his friends try to find a way out of the poverty they are trapped in. The opportunity comes when they find a the wallet of a wealthy man, who is impressed when they return it to him, and provides them with the capital to open a food stall, which they use as a stepping stone toward opening a restaurant. Through this story, the director, Chairul Raya, attempts to depict the way of life of the poor, while using the subplot of the love story between the clown and his wife to display his disdain for the mainstream tendencies in the Indonesian film industry. This film is at once moving and humorous.
The Warkop DKI team - Dono, Kasino, Indro – returns with two female friends, Winny and Anita, to manage an ugly old hotel, and transform it into a proper hotel. The managing of the hotel becomes fodder for the comedy: a female guest who turns out to be the younger sibling of the room renter; Dono who really likes rats; a dead person in the hotel; a sleepwalking guest, etc.
Set at the end of the Singasari Kingdom and the rise of Kediri Kingdom; there are two siblings, Arya Dwipangga, who loves literature, and Arya Kamandanu, who loves martial arts. A messenger of Kublai Khan from Mongolia offers Kertanegara a peaceful relationship. When Kertanegara refuses the offer, the Mongolian messenger kidnaps Ranubaya.
A biology research group, lead by Johan Giru and his wife Sofia, go to Lavayetty Island and encounter evil monkeys rotting from the inside out and becoming worm infested, a primitive tribe and a supernatural creature.
