Jordi Costa (Barcelona, 1966) is a film critic and occasional filmmaker from Spain. He's well-known among cinephiles in his country for his sharp writing about film and his views on popular culture. He has written books about a wide variety of subjects, from Todd Solondz to Pornography. As a filmmaker he tried with very small, low-budget films. The slapdash approach of these amateur films show interest in the hedonistic pleasures of cinema and are mostly influenced by italian culture from the past century and filmmakers like Jess Franco.
